The company is one person, on purpose.

I am Yaroslav Lõhmus, and I founded Lõhmus Tech Oy. The habit that led here started at sixteen. I studied at an upper secondary school built around entrepreneurship, where founding a business was part of the curriculum, and mine was making websites. Wix got me started and then got in my way, so I reached for custom HTML, CSS and JavaScript, worked through my first tutorial on w3schools, and never really stopped.

From there it was PHP, Python, Bash, hosting my own servers, then backends and frontends, microservices, integrations, architecture, cloud and on-premise. In the years since, I have barely let a day pass without tinkering with something on a computer.

The infrastructure specialisation, the last eight years of it, started with a hosting company I ran: client sites, hosted email, custom development, all of it on a Proxmox platform I had to design, operate and recover with nobody else to escalate to. Then software engineering, building distributed self-healing microservices. Then consulting across payments, ERP, reservations and mobile, almost always with other people. Then a Nordic energy company, as cloud architect and team lead: running cloud and on-premise infrastructure, moving the organisation to GitOps, owning platforms, controlling cost, and hiring the people to keep it going.

Most people who work on Kubernetes have only ever known somebody else's cloud. The layer below is an abstraction to them. It is not an abstraction if you have spent years being the person who fixes it, and that is the difference this company is built on.

Now the same problem is arriving for AI: organisations that need agentic systems and cannot let their data leave. It is an infrastructure problem wearing new clothes, and it is the work I want.
